Several casinos decided against poker rooms when their research showed that slot machines make more money on the same number of square feet. But in non super crowded casinos, the poker revenue is simply extra money since it’s easy for someone to move their slot play to other spots. Plus, the poker room may bring customers through the door who would otherwise go elsewhere. The error is probably made by other businesses as well.
