This website will eventually have several things going on. But for now, it will simply be used to list several dozen observations, educational anecdotes, and suggestions that I have sprinkled in various books, websites and magazines over the last 45 years. Plus a few new ones. Now it’s time to put them all in one place.
The thoughts are on a myriad of subjects. Some are important. Some are less so. Some involve poker or math type thinking. Some not so much . Most are, as far as I know, my original thoughts though undoubtedly many have been thought of by someone else somewhere. The one thing most have in common is that they are, for the most part not a matter of opinion, and do not require a certain political stance to agree with them. My experience has been that those who have read them tend to think “Of course. Why didn’t I think of that?”
If you click on the idea, you will sometimes see a further explanation of it and in any case will find a place to post a comment on it. They have been separated into 3 categories: Suggestions, Observations, and Math/Gambling. I will also have a separate category for Current Events.
I am presently tutoring SAT math, gambling/poker theory, and intermediate poker strategy by phone. First fifteen minutes is a nominal charge. If it appears we are accomplishing things, further time is more expensive. Contact me at [email protected]
